Are both Evolution and ID completely wrong proof in the details?

If the traps are 100% effective, why are there still hornets? Why don't all hornets come within the radius? All you need is a hornets that doesn't come close enough. Hornets don't have to mock you for evolution to be true, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did.
