How come Jews live peacefully in other Arab countries?

I travelled to Iran recently, and met a lot of Jews...and nobody was treating them differently. Then I googled it a found a lot of Jews live in Bahrain, Lebanon, Syria and jordan...so I'm confused, how come all a rans hate the Jews living in Israel and why in Israel Arabs and Jews don't live in peace?
