Looking for a Rabbi for questions?

Is there a Rabbi who could tell me something about 1.) egalitarianism amongst Hellenized Jews around the time of Jesus, and 2.) the role of women being able to lead a "temple" service in their homes around the time of Jesus? (I'm trying to find a historical basis for the alleged egalitarianism of Jesus. I'm an atheist ...majoring in religious studies looking for a smart Rabbi to help me out with Jewish history.)
